The Federal University of Education, Pankshin (FUEP) has released its admission list for the 2026/2027 academic session, with successful candidates now able to check their admission status through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Central Admissions Processing System, known as JAMB CAPS. The development is important for candidates who participated in the university’s 2026/2027 admission exercise and have been waiting to know whether they have been offered admission.
Candidates should check their JAMB CAPS profile to know whether FUEP has offered them provisional admission. To do this, visit the JAMB eFacility portal and log in with the details used for the 2026 UTME registration. From the dashboard, select the admission status option and access CAPS. Candidates should then select “Admission Status” to see whether an admission offer has been made. JAMB’s CAPS system allows candidates to view and respond to admission offers processed through the system.
Candidates who see “Admission Offered” should carefully review the institution and programme stated on the portal before accepting the offer. An admission offer should be accepted through the appropriate JAMB CAPS process. Candidates who accept their admission should also proceed to print their JAMB admission letter when it becomes available. JAMB has stated that admissions offered outside its approved process and without a JAMB admission letter are not recognized by the Board.
Applicants should also understand that not seeing an admission offer immediately does not necessarily mean that the candidate has been rejected. JAMB CAPS can display different admission stages, including admission in progress, recommended, pending or not admitted. Since admission processing can be done in batches, candidates whose status has not changed should continue checking their CAPS profile and the official FUEP admission portal for further updates.
Candidates who applied to FUEP should also make sure that their O’Level results and other required admission information are correctly reflected in their JAMB profile. JAMB specifically requires candidates with awaiting O’Level results to upload those results before they can be considered for admission. Any candidate who discovers an incorrect result, programme or personal information should resolve the issue through the appropriate official channel instead of relying on unofficial agents.
The Federal University of Education, Pankshin offers undergraduate degree admission through UTME and Direct Entry, alongside other admission pathways. The university’s admission portal allows candidates to check their application and admission status. Successful candidates should wait for the university’s instructions on acceptance, screening, registration and other requirements after confirming their admission on JAMB CAPS.
