AFUED 2026/2027 Post-UTME Registration Deadline and Application Update
Adeyemi Federal University of Education, Ondo (AFUED) has provided an important update for candidates seeking admission into its degree and Direct Entry programmes for the 2026/2027 academic session. The university’s official admission notice confirms that the Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening application is open to eligible candidates, with Wednesday, September 30, 2026 listed as the deadline for submission of applications. As of the latest information available on the university’s official website, there is no confirmed announcement extending the deadline beyond this date.
For the 2026/2027 admission exercise, AFUED states that UTME candidates seeking admission into its degree programmes must have scored at least 150 in the UTME. Direct Entry candidates, meanwhile, are required to have a minimum of seven points and at least one Merit Pass in their course of study. Candidates who did not initially choose AFUED as their first-choice institution may also apply, but they are required to change their institution of first choice to Adeyemi Federal University of Education through JAMB before proceeding with the application.
The university has also set a ₦2,000 non-refundable screening fee for the application. Candidates can make payment through the channels specified by the institution, including eTranzact or Remita at commercial banks, while online payment by debit or credit card is also provided. After payment has been confirmed, applicants are expected to complete their screening application through the university’s designated online portal.
AFUED requires applicants to provide accurate academic and personal information during the registration process. Candidates are expected to upload a clear passport photograph and their relevant SSCE results, including WAEC, NECO or NABTEB results, while Direct Entry candidates are also required to provide applicable NCE or ND results. The university specifically warns applicants to ensure that the information supplied on the application form is correct, as false information can lead to the withdrawal of admission and possible action by relevant authorities.
Candidates whose O’Level results were not available at the time of application are also given specific instructions by the university. AFUED states that candidates should wait for their O’Level results to be released before applying and that candidates are required to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). Applicants should therefore ensure that their academic records are properly updated and that the information submitted to the university agrees with their official examination records.
With the official deadline set for September 30, 2026, candidates should not assume that the Post-UTME registration period has been extended unless AFUED publishes a new notice confirming a revised date. The university’s current admission information continues to identify September 30 as the deadline, while its online screening portal provides the route for candidates to access the application process. Applicants should therefore rely on AFUED’s official website and admission portal for any subsequent change to the 2026/2027 screening schedule.
