Kaduna State University Acceptance Fee 2023/2024
As with most universities in Nigeria, Kaduna State University requires new students to make a mandatory payment known as acceptance fee. This fee is non-refundable and fluctuates depending on the department and academic year. For the 2023/2024 academic session, the acceptance fee for new students offered provisional admission to study at KASU is N20,000. Kindly that this amount is not part of the school fees. Other Things to Know about Kaduna State University
It is important here to give a brief overview of KASU. The university was established in 2004. It is one of the new generation universities in Nigeria, established with a mission to providing qualitative education to its immediate environment. The university has well over 37 departments spread across seven faculties. With two standard campuses; one in Kaduna and the other in Kafanchan, the school is poised to maintain the level of standard which the university is known for.
At the moment, Kaduna State University only offers Masters and PostGraduate Diploma at Postgraduate level. It is hoped that sometime in the future, it will be standardized to the level of awarding doctoral degrees. It is also important to note that these Postgraduate courses are only offered in the Faculties of Arts, Science, and Social and Management Sciences at the moment.
The Barau Dikko Teaching Hospital in Kaduna is the Medical training center for Medical and Pharmaceutical students. It is a standard hospital that has become a beehive for people seeking medical attention within the state and beyond.
