University of Abuja: Other Things You Should Know About the University
The University was established on the 1st of January 1988 as a dual-mode university with the mandate to run conventional and distance learning programmes. The school fully resumed academic work in 1990 with the matriculation of the pioneer students. The school is strategically located at the heart of the Federal Capital territory, attracting students from all over the country.
The school’s facilities are top-class and the management are certain of producing graduates that can compete at any required level in various fields available in the school. The school’s main campus is along Abuja Airport Road, and the mini-campus is situated at Gwagwalada. At the moment, the Administrative Building, Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Management Science, and the Faculty of arts are on the Main Campus while other faculties are in the Mini Campus.
